Airplane Ride!

While this technically wasn't my first ride on an airplane, I was too little to remember much of those earlier flights. However, I will remember every last bit of this flight! I absolutely LOVED it. The take off was super-fast and the landing was even better. Mommy thought I would take a nap on the flight...no chance! Here I am waiting for our plane at the airport. I made so many friends at the airport. This guy doesn't know it, but in a few seconds I am going to tap him on the shoulder and say "Hi!"

Mommy and daddy had me sit next to the window so that I could see all of the action.
Here is a video of me describing my first flight.

Daddy Day at School

Today was daddy day at school. All the kids dressed up in their favorite teams colors. Of course, daddy and I came dressed in our Packer green and gold. We did 8 different activities. One of the activities was called pin the tail on the daddy. I think I did a pretty good job.

At the end of the event all of the kids came together to sing a couple of songs for our dads.

Here is a video of us singing.

It is finally starting to look like winter is going to break. But in case we have another cold spurt, I've come up with an alternative way to get exercise. I have been running laps from the kitchen, through the dinning room, and living room. I did 42 laps the other day. Daddy is my counter.

Life is Good!

My friend Cecelia

What a fun weekend! My friend Cecelia came to see me. We had a great time playing together. We spent most of our time running between the basement, the family room, and my bedroom.
The best part of Cecelia's visit was that we got to have a sleep-over. Being a gentleman, I offered Cecelia my bed and I camped out on the floor. This is a video that sneaky daddy took when Cecelia and I were supposed to be taking a nap. Instead of napping, we decided to read books and whisper to each other.

Good movie, but a little scary!

The other day I watched the movie "A Land Before Time." It was a great movie about dinosaurs. There were, however, a few scary parts that I chose to watch behind my blue chair.

Uncle Ben is going to love my tattoo

One of the kids in my class gave me a tattoo for Valentines Day. I was really proud of it. I can't wait for Uncle Ben to see it. I might have to be careful and not take any baths for a while so it doesn't wash off.

My performance of The Night is Nice!

Today was a big day! My class had our first big Winter Program called "The Night is Nice." We all dressed up in our pajamas and performed a number of songs for the audience. Here we are all lined up on the stage performing "What do you do before you go to bed?"
Here is a video of my entering the stage. As you can tell I am really concentrating on going right to me stool and keeping my artwork showing. Some of the kids lost focus...not me.

Our performance of "What do you do before you go to bed?"

In our performance we use a Good Night Wand to get everyone to fall asleep.

It's also important to rub your eyes before you go to bed. Something that mommy and daddy claim suggests that I'm sleepy.

As the performance moves on we slowly begin to wake up. Here is our "wake up" scene.

Our final Jump and Wake up scene.

After the performance we went back to our classroom for a celebration; pizza, chips, and fruit punch. The boy in the gray shirt is my friend Bradley.

Best Chicago Dogs Ever!!

Today was a big day in my Chicago hot dog education. Mommy surprised daddy and I by taking us to a Chicago hot dog institution named "Hot Doug's." It took us 45 minutes to get there and then we waited in an hour long line just to get in...but it was 100 percent worth it. Hot Doug's only takes cash. Something we didn't figure out until we were just about to order. I don't think I've ever seen daddy run so fast to find a cash machine. For the record he made it back just in time.
Daddy and I told each other a lot of stories while waiting in line. Most of them involved a big giant and a little mouse.
This was the line to get a dog from Hot Doug's. Crazy!
The dogs were so good that I mistook my straw for another hot dog. Rake it over the garden!!

Story Time at B&N

Today was a full day. In addition to eating hot dogs at a Chicago institution, we also managed to fit in story time at Barnes and Noble. Today's theme was Valentines Day.

Silly Grandpa!

I got my grandpa John to put on this silly birthday hat....and it wasn't even anyone's birthday!!

Super Bowl Bash

Sunday was the big game! Something daddy calls the Super Bowl. We made chili and little hot dogs. Although my favorite part was the 3D halftime show. Those monsters looked like they were climbing right through the tv. Only bummer was that I had to go to bed after halftime. The Steelers beat the Cardinals in what turned out to be a great game.

A banana and some morning cartoons with froggy.

Here I am with my new buddy, Froggy. He's a lot of fun and likes to do whatever I want.

Chicago Childrens's Museum

Today mommy and I took a trip to the downtown Chicago Children's Museum. They had all sorts of fun stuff to play with. I'm not exactly sure what is going on here. I appear to be stuck some sort of net contraption.
One of the best of the Children's museum is the water area. You can play with all sorts of boats, tubes, and other stuff.

I think I have figured out a way to improve Chicago's water tunnel system.
They also have a car wash. Not surprisingly, I played with this for a long while.

Mommy thought this was the coolest exhibit of all. You get to pretend you are an archaeologist and can dig up dinosaur bones. I still liked the car wash better.

A good workerman always needs a hardhat.

Cheeeeeeeeese!

Trip to the Shedd Aquarium

Today mommy and I took a trip to the Shedd Aquarium. It was amazing. I saw all sorts of fish, sharks, and even a sea-turtle. Who knew there were so many fish?

My favorite part of the Aquarium was the 3D movie about the ocean. Don't I look great in 3D Glasses!!

When in Rome...

Life is Gooooooooood!!!!

I know, you are saying to yourself "does this Fisher character do anything other than go sledding?" Well I say, when in Rome do as the Romans...when in Chicago during the winter, go sledding. This time mommy and daddy took me to a new sledding hill in Geneva. It was not as steep as the other hill, but was much longer and bumpier. It made for a great time. After sledding we all went out to lunch in Geneva. I got a grilled cheese, but once our food arrived I decided I preferred daddy's brat. Good thing he ordered a brat AND a cheeseburger. When it comes to food, Daddy is always thinking ahead.

Video of my super-crazy crash!

While Mommy couldn't go down the hill with me she still helped me climb up.

This run was particularly good. I made it all the way to the end of the hill!

Daddy always makes sure I am safe on our speed runs.

Another day on the sledding hill!

Daddy and I went sledding again today. It has been so cold that I've had to stay inside the last few days. I've built up a lot of extra energy. Sledding is the perfect outlet for a little 3 year old boy. Here are a couple of videos. This first one is daddy and me going down the hill together. As you can tell, we were really moving...lots of fun bumps.

This next video is me going down the hil by myself. I was going as fast as a rocket. Demonstrated by the fact that daddy could not keep up. What fun.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!

Wow! We are not in Little Rock anymore! The snow keeps coming and I am loving every bit of it. After a big snowstorm rolled through a couple of days ago, daddy and I decided to go out sledding. We went to a snow hill behind Felix and Pierre's house. Now, I had been sledding a few times before, but this was a whole new level of fun and excitement. The first two times I made daddy ride in the sled with me. However after that, I was on my own! The sled works great and I go so fast. Daddy would walk with me to the top of the hill and then give me a big push. I would take off like a rocket. There were a few times when I almost ran into other kids on the hill. They would jump out of the way and I would laugh. I was not scared at all. Felix and Pierre also seemed to like sledding (Pierre more than Felix), but they were not quite ready for the big hill. Once they get a little bigger I'm going to teach them how to go super fast.
