Best Chicago Dogs Ever!!

Today was a big day in my Chicago hot dog education. Mommy surprised daddy and I by taking us to a Chicago hot dog institution named "Hot Doug's." It took us 45 minutes to get there and then we waited in an hour long line just to get in...but it was 100 percent worth it. Hot Doug's only takes cash. Something we didn't figure out until we were just about to order. I don't think I've ever seen daddy run so fast to find a cash machine. For the record he made it back just in time.
Daddy and I told each other a lot of stories while waiting in line. Most of them involved a big giant and a little mouse.
This was the line to get a dog from Hot Doug's. Crazy!
The dogs were so good that I mistook my straw for another hot dog. Rake it over the garden!!

Story Time at B&N

Today was a full day. In addition to eating hot dogs at a Chicago institution, we also managed to fit in story time at Barnes and Noble. Today's theme was Valentines Day.

Silly Grandpa!

I got my grandpa John to put on this silly birthday hat....and it wasn't even anyone's birthday!!

Super Bowl Bash

Sunday was the big game! Something daddy calls the Super Bowl. We made chili and little hot dogs. Although my favorite part was the 3D halftime show. Those monsters looked like they were climbing right through the tv. Only bummer was that I had to go to bed after halftime. The Steelers beat the Cardinals in what turned out to be a great game.

A banana and some morning cartoons with froggy.

Here I am with my new buddy, Froggy. He's a lot of fun and likes to do whatever I want.

Chicago Childrens's Museum

Today mommy and I took a trip to the downtown Chicago Children's Museum. They had all sorts of fun stuff to play with. I'm not exactly sure what is going on here. I appear to be stuck some sort of net contraption.
One of the best of the Children's museum is the water area. You can play with all sorts of boats, tubes, and other stuff.

I think I have figured out a way to improve Chicago's water tunnel system.
They also have a car wash. Not surprisingly, I played with this for a long while.

Mommy thought this was the coolest exhibit of all. You get to pretend you are an archaeologist and can dig up dinosaur bones. I still liked the car wash better.

A good workerman always needs a hardhat.

Cheeeeeeeeese!
