Trip to the Water Park

Today we went to the Water Park. It was a lot of fun. I put on my favorite floppy hat to keep the sun off me. It's pretty cool.

Thought for the day.

Just in case you were wondering...life is good!

Hocus Pocus

Check out my magic skills. This was the hotel we stayed at on our trip home. I was able to open and close the hotel doors on command.

Back from our trip

Greetings everyone. Sorry for not blogging recently, but we just returned from a trip back to Wisconsin. I was able to spend a lot of time with my grandparents and I loved every minute of it. In case you didn't know I have 2 grandpas and 2 grandmas. I point this out to mommy and daddy quite frequently. The trip was a bit more busy for mommy and daddy. They went out to Denver to watch Uncle Ben receive his Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver...Congrats Uncle Ben!!! Then daddy went on a golfing trip and mommy went to Chicago to look for houses. As I said earlier, I spent nearly every waking moment playing with my grandparents. And as you can see from these pictures, I even got a chance to play on my John Deer tractor. I did a little driving, but I still prefer to push it.

Speed Mowing

Today was another day of yard work. We want to make the house look nice so that we can sell our house and move to Chicago. I'm very excited by this prospect because I will be closer to my grandparents. So I decided to help out by doing the laundry. I still think the lawnmower is called the laundry mower. Daddy is very proud of how nice the backyard looks. He's always telling me stories of how bad it looked when we first moved here and how there was poison ivy everywhere. I am not sure what poison ivy is, but apparently daddy is not fond of it.

Below is a video of my mowing technique. I call this speed mowing or doing the laundry.

Today was a 4 banana day!

Yup, I have eaten 4 bananas today. That's a personal best for me. I could probably eat another 2 or 3, but there are no more bananas in the house. Mommy and daddy will have to go shopping.

Phone Time With Grandma

Here I am having a birthday conversation with Grandma on the phone. We are talking about trucks...of course.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today is May 2 and it is my Grandma's birthday. I am very excited that it is her birthday, but am also sad that I cannot be with her to celebrate. I am an excellent present opener helper. So instead I have put together a little birthday song for her. Happy Birthday Grandma! I will see you soon.

In addition to being excellent with the measuring tape, I can also do wonders with a shovel. Here I am doing some work on our flower bed in the back yard.

More Measuring

Mommy and daddy have been doing a lot of work on the house to make it look nice so that someone will buy it and we can move to Chicago. I talk a lot about our move to Chicago. Mostly because I know it will get me closer to grandpa and grandma. Both sets. Yes, I now know that I have 2 grandpas and 2 grandmas. I tell mommy and daddy that a lot these days. It's a pretty big deal. But back to my main point, because of all the work on the house, I get to play with the tape measure more than usual. I think mommy and daddy wanted these pictures up because he thinks I look cute in this outfit.

This morning's musings over coffee & juice.

Fisher: Daddy, can I say something?
Daddy: Sure.
Fisher: I want to say…God!
Daddy: That’s great Fisher.
Fisher: Daddy, God gave you your eyebrows.
Daddy: That’s right. It sure was nice of him.
Fisher: Daddy, can I say something?
Daddy: Sure buddy.
Fisher: I want to say speedy little race cars!

Now I know my ABCs

Just in case you really liked my rendition of Old McDonald.

Lights Out!

This was the best game. Daddy was trying to keep the light on so that I could take a shower. I was trying to keep the light out so that I didn't have to shower...and could hide in the dark. Most kids my age are afraid of the dark. Not me! I think it is funny. Listen to me laugh as daddy tries to keep turning the light back on.

Tickle Time

You can probably tell, but mommy is doing some serious tickling right now. It doesn't get much better than that.

E-I-E-I-Oooooooo!

Here daddy and I are singing one of my favorite songs. I think we should go on American Idol!

Mommy & Daddy's trip to San Fran!

I know the primary reason you tune into this blog is hear about me (the Fish), but every once in a while it is important that I keep you abreast of what's going on with the rest of the family. And recently mommy and daddy took a trip out to San Francisco. Here are some pictures from the trip. Warning!!!-I am not in any of these pictures!!! Here is a picture of mommy and daddy at the Golden Gate Bridge.
Here is a close up of them actually on the bridge. It is hard to tell from the picture, but daddy (who has a mild fear of heights) is a little uneasy about the whole experience.
A picture from the bridge looking back at San Francisco. Mommy was especially happy here because she had just spent the morning buying shoes...expensive shoes according to daddy.

Here mommy and daddy are at McCovey Cove directly behind the San Francisco Giants baseball stadium. This is the spot where all the homes runs are hit. Daddy was pretty excited about this.
Here is daddy ridding the trolly in San Francisco. He insisted on hanging off the side the whole time. I don't think mommy would have let me do that.

I am a good worker man!

In getting our house ready to sell, mommy and daddy have been working on a number of little projects around the house. I recently decided to help with the cause. I'm a very good at measuring, hammering, and decorating the walls with crayon.

Root Beer Floats!

When my grandpa Treps was visiting he thought it was very important that I try a root beer float. I now know why...they are awesome! Here are some pictures of the experience.

Different Places I Rest

I don't know about you, but I find that it is important to take a good rest now and again. Here are some fun places I have rested recently. Here I am taking a brief break at the zoo. There is so much to see and so many animals to talk to that a little guy like me can get tired very quickly.
Here I am after a long run with daddy. He did most of the running, but boy was I worn out afterwards. All that fresh air will wear a guy out.
Well, I don't ALWAYS sleep during nap time. Here I am sitting back and enjoying a good book on big trucks during my nap. I find that crossing my legs while reading adds a certain sophistication to the experience.
