We've all been battling colds recently. When you get sick it's because bad guys sneak into your body. The good news is that your body is full of good guys that battle the bad guys. Fisher and I really like hearing about the good guys battling inside our body. I tell you all about it in this video.

First day of 1st grade
Today was my first day of 1st grade. What an exciting day. It was my first WHOLE day at school. For kindergarten you don't stay for lunch. Mom packed me a great PB&J-hold the J sandwich and some Yummy snacks. The only hitch was that I got the wrong sized pencil box. But as I told dad this morning "It's no big deal dad, it's just a pencil box.

Playing in the backyard
What a wonderful day today was. Kitson and I spent hours playing. Although I must admit she eventually wore me down.

Playtime in the backyard
Hi everyone. I'm sorry I haven't posted for a long time. I'm going to try to get you caught up on all the exciting things that have been happening in our lives. As you can see from this picture, Kitson and I are enjoying the wonderful weather and our amazing backyard. I'll make sure to post a bunch more in the near future.

Ice Cream!
I REALLY like ice cream. It's super yummy. The other day after finishing my bowl, mommy and daddy caught me trying to drink the left over ice-cream liquid. It's just as yummy as the frozen part. A little messy, but mommy is always right there to help. I also really like chocolate.
Our first trip ice skating
Today we went ice skating! It was fantastically fun. Both Kitson and I loved it. But boy was it slippery. I must have fallen 50 times.
In this video you can see me using this little contraption that helps kids like myself keep their balance while you learn to skate. I like it, but I couldn't generate much speed with it.
Here daddy and I took a little break to reflect on the experience. Even holding on to the side I managed to slip. What a crazy sport!
After a little more work I started to figure things out. I still fell a fair amount, but that's part of the fun.
In this last video, you will eventually see mommy and Kitson come skate up to daddy and I. Kitson really enjoyed skating. Mommy is also very good. Although, I think her back got tired holding Kitson like that. Once we were all done, it was time to return our skates. Kitson did not like that one bit. She cried and cried as we came off the ice.

One of my favorite movies is Toy Story. I also really like the movie Care Bears. In this performance, I take the music of Care Bears and insert my own lyrics of the Toy Story movie. I think it works wonderfully. You should also note, that I am sporting my new underwear. And yes, they are Toy Story underwear.
Chef Kitson
I have found a new passion, cooking! Today I was preparing some lovely chicken nuggets for lunch. As all good cooks know, one must wear an apron when cooking food. I insist upon it and usually like to wear it for both lunch and dinner preparations.

Sledding
Today Fisher, Daddy, and I went sledding. It was soooo much fun. So much speed. Fisher would ride in the back and I would sit on his lap. We made a great team. Except for the one time he rolled out of the sled and onto me. He said he was sorry and was careful after that.

Dancing
Kitson and I had a big dancing session tonight. We both have very original dance styles. I like to free-style dance. That means there are no rules! Kitson likes to spin.

Fun at the Arboretum
It was super warm last weekend and we decided to take a trip out to the arboretum. We had lots of fun running around all the different activities. Fisher spent most of his time searching for the 15 gnomes they had hid around the grounds. He found all 15. My favorite part was going down the slide. The only challenging part is that you once you made it down the slide you had to run a long way to get back up again. It was some excellent exercise.
Can you reach it?
Last Saturday, one of my paper darts flew under the entertainment center. It went way in the back and was the hardest thing to get out. As you can see, Kitson and I worked for quite a while on it.
Frosty the Snowman
My absolute favorite Christmas program this year was Frosty the Snowman. I have memorized the whole song. I asked daddy if he would play it for me on the piano so I could sign along. It went pretty good although daddy kept saying that Frosty's eyes were made of snow. Silly daddy. I am also a pretty busy little girl, so I needed to step away from the piano from time to time to take care of my business.

The kick is GOOD!!
I got a whole bunch of great gifts for Christmas, but some of my favorites were football related. I really love football. Here I am kicking a field goal through my new uprights. I have spent a good chunk of the morning in my basement practicing my kicks.

Out of bed 63 times
I am now sleeping in my big-girl bed. It's very nice and I do like sleeping in it. But this new bed also allows me the privilege of getting up and out of bed whenever I please. The first night mommy and daddy put me down alone in the bed I got up and out of my bed 63 times. They were very kind about it all and would gently put me back in my bed. Here is a video daddy shot of one of my trips downstairs.

Worms in my bed!!!
I have not been a good sleeper the last two nights. Two nights ago I woke up at 3:00am shouting "there are worms in my bed." I would not go back to sleep and kept mommy and daddy up the rest of the night. Then last night I refused to go to bed in my worm infested bed. Mommy and daddy insisted and I proceeded to scream at the top of my lungs unit they got me out. Mommy says there are no worms in my bed and that it is just the wrinkles in my crib sheet. I don't believe that one bit. Those are worms and something needs to be done about them.
The 2012 Christmas Tree
Last weekend we once again made our annual trip up to Wisconsin to cut down our Christmas tree. It was so much fun. Grandma and Grandpa took us out to the Christmas tree farm. We got to drink hot coco, go on a tractor ride, and most importantly, cut down our Christmas tree. It took a lot of looking to find the right one. Kitson was ready to pick the first tree we saw, but I was determined to find the perfect one. We finally did. Then we strapped it to our car and drove back home. The tree made it and mommy even used some of the extra branches to make a bunch of wreathes.
I made sure that the tree was covered with ornaments. I thought this area was one of my best spots.
In this video, Kitson and I are putting up ornaments. Our job was to put up all the kid-friendly ornaments. Kitson was really excited.
I was in such a festive mood, I broke out some Christmas songs. Mommy was a little concerned that I was putting all my ornaments in one spot. I think that really make the tree pop!

Too Shiny!
It was daddy's job to pick out my socks tonight. But he kept picking out socks that were far too shiny for my tastes. I kept telling him time after that that those socks were "too shiny."

Playing with my toys
I have founds some of Fisher's old toys and absolutely love them. This toy is a construction site, but I prefer to think of it as a place where my family can play. The kids drive to school and then play and go down the slide.
