Who's hungry?

I am! Today I had my first official meal. It was only a little bit of rice cereal, but man it was good. Fisher helped by making me laugh everytime mommy wanted to give me a spoonful. I spilled some, but hey I'm only 5 months old.

Some new outfits.

How about this outfit. Mommy keeps me looking good and cute.

Me and Fisher in the basement.

Fisher and I decided to play downstairs this afternoon. We had a lot of fun. He's always up to something and I am learning so much from him. I just love to watch everything he does.

Don't eat the bubbles

Mommy says I shouldn't eat my bath bubbles. But how can I resist. They are super fun and delicious.

And they're off...sort of.

Today was the big hermit crab race. Sherman, Bert, and Cluck competed. Doc didn't make it, because he died. I've decided we should get another Doc. As you will see it was a pretty exciting race.

Banana Bread Day

Mommy and I made banana bread today. My job was to peel the bananas and put them in the bowl. I did other stuff too, but this seemed to be the most important job. And yes, my pajamas are inside out and backwards. I did that myself and was quite pleased.

Doc the Hermit Crab

I recently got a few hermit crabs. I named them Sherman, Doc, Cluck, and Bert. They are a lot of fun. I check in on them every day to make sure they are ok. If they are not tunneling under the ground, we take them out of their aquarium and let them walk around. As you will see in this video, I am still a little nervous about holding them. I keep backing away and eventually find myself under the dinner table. As luck would have it, I found part of an Oreo cookie I dropped last night. I tried to take a nibble of it, but mommy was having none of that.

In this video I let Doc walk on my hand. He's a nice little hermit crab.

Uncle Ben in the house!!

Our Uncle Bed came to visit us this week. We were so excited. Kitson and Uncle Ben hit it off right away. Uncle Ben is the coolest guy we know. He's so cool that he's got tattoos of each of our names (pictures to come). We spent most of our time playing and hanging out.

All smiles all the time!

I'm a happy babby.

Still another birtday party!

I know what you are going to say...how many birthday parties can one guy have? Well, for the record, the number is 3. This one was actually one my birthday. All of my friends came and we had a simple celebration at the local park. Doesn't get much better than that.
Check out this amazingly high balloon. I've never seen anything like it before. How Cool! Thanks Uncle Julien!

I hope I don't fly away!!

Honky Tonk...Arkansas Style!

I had another birthday party with all my friends yesterday. It was a blast. My good friends Felix and Pierre got me this awesome guitar. As you can see, I am a quick study.

Dozer Days

One of the highlights of my birthday celebration was going to Dozer Days. Dozer Days is a big festival where they have every possible truck, machine, or vehicle you could imagine. And the best part is that they let kids climb all over the machines.
Check out this cool garbage truck. I'm honking the loudest horn I've ever heard. I'm pretty sure I scared more than a few people. This is the biggest bulldozer I've ever seen. It's even bigger than grandpa.
Now that's a big wheel.
Daddy, Grandpa, and I got to go on a dump truck ride. It was a little bouncy, but man was it fun.

When you are 4 you get a dirt cake!!

Can you believe it...I'm four!!! It just seemed like yesterday I was only 3. Mommy, Daddy, Kitson, and I all went back to celebrate my birthday with both grandma and grandpas. Here I am opening the coolest transformer ever! The only trouble was that I got sick Saturday night and had come home before I had my party with grandma and grandpa John & Kay. Good news is that we are heading back next weekend to continue the birthday celebration.

Grandma made me the coolest cake in the world. She called it a dirt cake. It had dirt (oreo cookies) and worms (not real worms, gummy worms). The best part was that before we ate it I got to do some final decorations. Here is a video of me and my special cake.

Computers are easy!

Daddy showed me how to use the computer today. It sure is fun and I must say rather easy to operate. I had the mouse figured out in less than a minute. We started by playing a couple of Curious George games on http://www.pbskids.org/. The game in the video allowed me to mix different colors of paint and then paint a picture. I had all sorts of fun.

I just threw up on daddy :(

Boy do I feel so much better! Glad I got all of that out of my system. Daddy wasn't real happy about it. I guess he shouldn't have been bouncing me like that on his tummy. Mommy sure thought it was funny. I've never seen her laugh like that. So funny she had to grab the camera before helping daddy clean up. Poor daddy.

Let's do the numbers

I had my 4 month old checkup today. Doctor said everything looked great. I currently weigh 14lbs & 10oz (75 percentile) and measure in at 24 and 3/4 inches (75 percentile), with a perfect head circumference of 16 and 1/2 inches (again 75 percentile). I've listed my 2 month and 8 day old statistics below. Only bad part was all the shots. I cried. Mommy told daddy that it was a sad cry not an angry cry. She was right, I was sad.
2 Months: Weight 12lbs 1oz; Lenght 23 1/4 in. Head Circumference 15 1/2 inches.
8 Days: 8lbs 3oz; Lenght 20 1/4 inches; Head circumference 13 3/4 inches.

My gums hurt

I am now finally able to enjoy the fruits of sitting in a chair. I never realized how much I had been missing. Life would be absolutely perfect if my gums didn't hurt so much. I need something to chew on.

My first jog with daddy

Me and Billbert

Daddy and I took another trip to the zoo. On this visit we went into the butterfly zone. There were over 500 hundred butterflies flying around. You were not allowed to try and catch one, but if one lands on your hand that is just fine. It took a while, but eventually Billbert came my way.
I video of Billbert and I.

Boom, Boom, Boom

As you can see from this video, I am getting so much stronger. I also like to dance. Here mommy is working the rhythm of some "boom, boom, boom" song. It's catchy. I think the Black Eyed Peas are my new favorite group.
